Lavender Springs is a small, intimate, 16 resident assisted living home nestled in Hill Country outside Austin, Texas. Needing assistance doesn’t mean giving up the right to live in a beautiful place. Our mission is to serve the senior community by providing them with exceptional care so they can feel happy and comfortable and so their families can have peace of mind—all while making friends in this beautiful place we call home.
What Is Assisted Living?
Assisted living offers help to individuals that require daily care. These facilities do not provide the same level of care as the nursing homes provide. The assisted living facilities typically accommodate from as little as 25 residents all the way up to 120 or more. In most cases, some “levels of care” are on offer, with the fees increasing for patients that require higher care levels. The residents at assisted living facilities usually live in a room or their own apartment, but they share all the common areas. They also have access to a range of services, including 3 meals daily, laundry, housekeeping, help with most personal care activities, assistance with medications, security, 24-hour supervision, recreational and social activities, and 24/7 on-site staff. The arrangements of these facilities will vary from one state to the next. Residents in these facilities typically have their own rooms or apartments and they share common areas. A variety of services are provided to residents including:
- 3 meals a day
- Personal care assistance
- Help with laundry and housekeeping
- Help with medications
- On-site staff
- 24-hour supervision and security
- A variety of social and recreational activities

How Does It Work?
Assisted living facilities are meant for senior citizens and the disabled who require housing, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and assistance with taking medicine.
